COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE® Announces Promotions

Two Employees Receive Recognition, Expanded Responsibilities

BARRINGTON, Ill. (April 8, 2008) – COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE®, the leader in community association lending, has announced its internal promotions.

Linda J. Schiff, President, has promoted Peter J. Santangelo to the position of Senior Vice President. In this role, Santangelo will be responsible for business development and portfolio management for condominium, homeowner and townhouse association clients throughout the Midwest.

“Pete has played an integral part in our success. Since joining the bank, he has been the backbone of our business. I am thrilled to announce his promotion,” Schiff said.

Santangelo joined COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE in November 2001. Prior to that, he managed commercial lending relationships in several large corporate banks and was responsible for the sale of bank deposits and investment and cash management products.

Santangelo was recently appointed to board president of Community Associations Institute – Illinois Chapter. He is also a member of the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations; Apartment Building Owners and Managers Association; and the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Stacey L. Adams was promoted to the position of Assistant Vice President. As such, Adams will be responsible for the implementation and customer service of credit administration services, including loans for large capital projects, capital asset acquisitions and working capital for a portfolio of community associations.

“Stacey has long been recognized by her peers in the industry,” Schiff said. “As her clients and co-workers can attest, she is well-deserving of this promotion.”

Adams joined Barrington Bank & Trust Company, N.A., the parent of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, in May 2001 as a credit analyst. She then moved to loan administration to assist with the growing demands of the COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE loan portfolio. Previously, she worked as a teller and as an analyst.

Adams serves on the Magazine Committee and chairs the E-newsletter Committee for the Community Associations Institute – Illinois Chapter. She is also a member of the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations and is Secretary of the Fox Valley Homeowners Confederation.
